Loch Long Jetty Association is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation established 15th November 2017.  The purpose of the organisation is to provide recreational facilities and organise recreational activities, with a particular focus on the development, maintenance and management of pontoons and jetties on Loch Long, Arrochar.

Our main objective is to attract visitors to the area which will help to revive the local economy and improve living conditions for local residents.

We have installed a pontoon measuring 46metre x 2.2metre with a 12.6metre x 2.2metre hammerhead.  The depth at the sea side of the hammerhead at low tide is 3metres and 2metres at the inside.  Our two visitor moorings have been installed and these are identifiable by the white buoys and are suitable for up to 15tonne yachts.

Fees will be payable for use of these facilities but these will be kept as reasonable as possible and will be reviewed regularly.  We do not intend to make a profit but we need to cover our annual costs of insurance and any maintenance that should arise.  Please see our Charges Page.  Payment should be placed in the Honesty Box on the pontoon which sits just under our sign.

We currently have a sub-committee which organises the Arrochar 10k and we are now planning a new event to celebrate the Year of Coast and Water - read more about these two events at Loch Long Events . Anyone interested in helping with these should contact the secretary on lochlongjettyassociation@gmail.com

Annual membership is now available at a cost of 5.  To apply for membership, just complete this form and email it to lochlongjettyassociation@gmail.com

We held our third Annual General Meeting on Tuesday 15th December and the Minutes and short Accounts from this can be accessed here.
